About the role and where you will be working:

Our Kalgoorlie facility, is at the heart of the town and has been providing care for the elderly since 1968.

You will be required to spend time with our residents, assisting in activities inside and outside the facilities at Victoria Park Nursing Home, taking residents out and playing fulfilling games.

We're a tight knit team at each of our facilities, and this goes a long way to ensure that we can manage our busy schedules, whilst sharing some laughs and banter.

This is a permanent part-time position offering 65 hours per fortnight.

We’ll also be asking you to:

  • Carefully read & follow care plans
  • Assist with personal care and meeting individual requirements
  • Work under the guidance of Shift Managers (Nursing & Facility)
  • Building a strong relationship with residents and their families
  • Show compassion & exercise patience

About you:

You enjoy interacting with elderly people with strong people skills, and take pride in your work. Multitasking comes naturally, and you’re able to effectively manage your time.

  • Initiative & the ability to effectively prioritise & multitask
  • Great communication skills (spoken & written)
  • Attention to detail will guide you to success in this role
